Tour Highlights
We begin your journey in the charming fishing town of Negombo a short drive away from the airport. You will stay overnight to relax after your flight so you are fully refreshed to start the tour the following morning.
A chance to see the countryside as we transfer 5 hours inland to Sinharaja Rainforest Reserve, Sri Lanka’s last remaining area of tropical jungle and rainforest, this area is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sinharaja escapes the tourist crowds and its unspoiled lands are home to many of the island’s endemic species!
Wild elephants are the main attraction at Udawalawe National Park, followed by Yala, a southwest coastal national park with the chance to glimpse the elusive leopards.
We include a short stay in the South at the glorious beaches where you can play golf and on other excursions such as dolphin or whale watching season dependent. We end the tour at the quaint city of Galle where you can explore cobbled streets and watch the local fisherman perched on stilts at sea.
