Just a few hours from Bangkok are Thailand's beautiful Gulf beaches, some of the most popular islands are found in the Gulf of Thailand. We recommend Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao, these Islands and resorts on the east coast are popular for families, honeymooners, and first-timers.

Journey farther west to find little Island gems, gasp in awe at the scenic limestone boulders exploding out from the depths of the Andaman Sea.  For us, the idyllic island of Koh Yao Noi ticks all the boxes, the best Thai food was at the JE T'Aime restaurant in the village. This beautiful island can be explored by a scooter with hidden beaches and coves off the beaten track, ready to be discovered!

Krabi is a popular resort with a natural setting for a more relaxed vibe, with a wide variety of places to stay, this is an ideal base to charter a boat 007 style, and head up to find James Bond Island featured in the film "Man with the Golden Gun". 

We have personally stayed in Koh Yao Noi, Phuket, and Koh Samui and explored the heart and breadth of this amazing country from elephants to monkeys and monasteries through to temples, we love and know Thailand! 

We suggest:

• Combine a few days immersed in the city sights in Bangkok, visit the bridge at the River Kwai and then take a short flight to Koh Samui and eat the delicious street food at the Bophut night market at Fisherman's Village.
• Stay in Phuket and play golf or laze on the beach in the hazy sunshine. A Thai massage will melt away the stresses of modern-day living, and a Thai cooking class will ensure you take home a taste of Thailand with you!
• Why stay in one place when you can stay in two? Island hop from Ko Phi Phi and see where the film The Beach was set and then stay on the exotic Island of Ko Lanta, visit Khao Mia Kaew a spectacular waterfall, trek through mangroves, stroll along coral-fringed beaches and rainforest.
