Thailand Islands and beaches

Just a few hours from Bangkok are Thailand's beautiful Gulf beaches, some of the most popular islands are found in the Gulf of Thailand. We recommend Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao, these Islands, and resorts on the east coast are popular for families, honeymooners, and first-timers.

Journey farther west to find little Island gems, gasp in awe at the scenic limestone boulders exploding out from the depths of the Andaman Sea. For us, the idyllic island of Koh Yao Noi ticks all the boxes, the best Thai food was at the JE T'Aime restaurant in the village. This beautiful island can be explored by a scooter with hidden beaches and coves off the beaten track, ready to be discovered!

Stunning resorts

Krabi is a popular resort with a natural setting for a more relaxed vibe, with a wide variety of places to stay, this is an ideal base to charter a boat 007 style, and head up to find James Bond Island featured in the film "Man with the Golden Gun". 

Hotel resorts are a popular choice but with food so cheap our top tip is to book bed and breakfast to try the local dishes in the local restaurants and markets.

We have personally stayed in Koh Yao Noi, Phuket, and Koh Samui and explored the heart and breadth of this amazing country from elephants to monkeys and monasteries through to temples, we love and know Thailand! Please feel free to ask us for advice on where to stay and what to do.
