Let me tell you a bit about me:
I was very fortunate growing up, to have young parents that worked hard and played hard, when it came to holidays! They saved scrupulously, all year to take me and my brother away to experience different places. My earliest memories were of Malta and I have been back a few times since. I just love the amazing architecture and quaint narrow streets of Valletta. I vividly remember visiting the Mosta Dome and being fascinated by the bomb replica that tells the story of an air raid in World War II, when a bomb pierced through the dome but never exploded.
As we grew older, we journeyed west to the USA. My favourite state will always be Florida. From the magical parks of Disney to discovering the incredulous wildlife, from staring alligators hidden in the everglades to feeding cheeky raccoons with marshmallows. For us, it was more than just the theme parks although I am mad about the rollercoasters. We spent precious time on Naples beaches and Fort Myers Island before heading off to Orlando. this is when I learned about the appeal of a two-centre holiday.
Theme parks are my speciality, a holiday was not complete without a Six Flags or a Universal Park and the California holiday was a fly-drive holiday I will never forget. Encompassing Disney in Anaheim and a trip to Las Vegas where I rode the extreme slingshot at the top of the stratosphere!
I originally intended to take to the skies as cabin crew, so studied travel and tourism at college. However, I then met my lovely husband and decided to stay grounded and started working for a tour operator and have enjoyed selling holidays and designing offers ever since!
We honeymooned in Mauritius, with its beautiful beaches and turquoise lagoons. We enjoyed many tours from quad-biking, a day boat trip to Ile aux Cerfs, and an afternoon exploring the beautiful Pamplemousses Botanic Gardens.
Now I share my love for travel with my family. I have 2 daughters with a 5 year age gap giving me a good understanding of what families need.
